CHILDREN'S DAY 2005
A coalition of groups working for better public policy for children and
families sponsored the Children’s Policy Forum on February 15 and
Children’s Day at the Legislature on February 16, 2020.
About 300 people from around West Virginia attended the
policy forum to hear about federal and state policies being considered
by Congress and the West Virginia State Legislature. A day filled with
information ended with a reception hosted by First Lady Gayle Manchin at
the Governor’s Mansion.
On February 16, dozens of groups from around the State displayed
exhibits at the State Capitol and met with their legislators to discuss
issues of interest.
