Randolph County Family Resource Network
PO Box 1172
105 First Street, Rm. 202
Elkins, WV  26241

Our Vision is to see Randolph County as a community of government, businesses, schools, religions and families working together in a responsive partnership to strengthen families. Our Mission is to help our members work together in order to provide a seamless system of services to the families of the county by:

  • Identifying family needs

  • Identifying resources to meet family needs,

  • Sharing plans and information and

  • Planning joint actions.

The Elkins FRN is helping to make a difference in the Randolph County community by assisting the CHIP outreach worker in identifying eligible uninsured/underinsured children; strengthening communication and mobilizing the community through an America’s Promise movement; assisting in attaining a Public Transportation system that would serve the county; and opening a Children's Advocacy Center in Randolph Co. This is just a part of what the Elkins FRN is actively pursuing.

Specific activities related to getting more children enrolled in the CHIP program include forming a CHIP coalition to assist in determining the obstacles/barriers to CHIP enrollment, distributing CHIP information county wide, promoting CHIP in our monthly newsletter and advertising for CHIP at any community functions where we have a presence
